Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, the Conference Sprints (July 16-17) are free to all. We ask that you register so we may have an accurate count for space and catering.
Note: Hotel rooms at the reduced conference rate of $159/night +tax at the AT&T Hotel & Conference Center fill quickly, so be sure to make your arrangements as soon as possible.

There are still some rooms available July 9-11, 12, 14, 16-18. They will go fast, so get them while you can! You can reach the AT&T reservations desk at 512-404-3600 for further assistance.

What does the Virtual ticket include?
​
This year we are offering a virtual attendance option. This rate is for those who would like to attend SciPy 2022 online to watch a live stream of the general session talks. Virtual registrants will be able to access the SciPy 2022 Slack channel to participate in session discussions and Q&As.

Is financial aid or a reduced rate available?
​
In addition to discounted student and academic rates, SciPy offers financial scholarships to a select number of attendees, with selection based on both merit and need. We are very grateful to our sponsors for helping to provide this financial aid. The deadline for the financial aid application is March 13, 2022. The application may be found here.

100% refund (less a $20 processing fee) through Thursday, June 30. You must contact [email protected] to complete the refund transaction. Effective Friday, July 1, there are no refunds. However, you may transfer your registration to another individual by notifying [email protected].

I am an international attendee. What if I have trouble obtaining a visa or if I am denied entry into the US?
​
SciPy will provide a 100% refund to attendees who have registered, but could not obtain a visa or were denied entry into the US. We do require written documentation that your visa was rejected or that you arrived in the US but were denied entry.

When will I select which tutorial I want to attend?
​
Individual tutorial sessions will be announced in late March. At that time, you will receive an email to log into your registration and make your selections. Our most popular tutorials do sell out and you will need to register in advance for your individual sessions. If you have any questions, feel free to contact [email protected]

Am I able to pay by check?
​
